A documentary of the mortgage crisis by CNBC: House of Cards. It is a bit slow and simple but still for people that don’t really understand the basics of what happened it is interesting.

I recently saw a documentary about the housing crisis–not certain if this is the one. It showed the Mayor of Norway discussing the investment of the town’s pension fund in CDs by Citibank. The CDs were based on Ca housing developments, which were also shown in the film. The Mayor was promised phemomenal intersest which they needed as young people had moved out of the town, leaving mainly elderly, and they needed the money for housing for them. I would like to find a copy for the new deputy sec of treasury, who thinks the banks have been shamed enough.
